He did mention lots of ppl offered to put in orders and send deposits, but he didnt want to have a ton of orders he couldnt fill because of parts shortage.

If your a small business with no cash in reserves and rely on the chain to get parts for whatever it is you build, I can see how things might seem uncertain. There are a lot of supply chains that are business as usual and then you see some which are not doing so well, for many different reasons. Seeing all this and having no reserves for a "just in case" scenario and I'm sure there a lot of small business owners having panic attacks right now.

Like others have said, you may be great at what you do but suck when dealing with the business end.
Problem is some of those HAVE to handle the business end cause they cant afford to hire someone to do it. Often times you can get away with it, but the slightest wrench (like a friggin complete shutdown of everything) and your in a really shitty situation. Add to the fact that you NEED to provide for your family and that compounds the anxiety. I hope it all works out for all these guys. Nobody deserved any of this.

That's false. George has a shop he owns & maintains, makes improvements to, insures etc. I should know as I have been there many times.
