craftsmanship aside, would the Mex made Fender w/ an evertune bridge outperform a Suhr or other high priced guitar (non floyd) in regards to intonation / always sounding in tune?

But Craftmanship does come into play if tuning/intonation is your focus.

Suhr will have more stable, better wood

Same with the neck

Tuners

A "Good" Bridge, wont "Bridge" the gap between these two guitars.

Mexi Strat's are great! Mark Day will testify... are they Suhrs if you add a nice bridge?

no...

As someone who's installed dozens of these I can say that it will stay in tune and play more in tune intonation wise better than a guitar without one. Mexi Strats are fine guitars, not nearly as fine as the Suhrs, but I must say, the Evertune is a real game changer.

I'm sorry, if a $4K guitar doesn't stay in tune or I have to tune it between takes vs an evertune on a mex made fender that doesn't need tuning between takes
I'd go for the evertune

tone is another thing
but
u don't need to spend thousands to get good tone....
especially not finger tone...

As far as JUST tuning stability... it doesn't really matter what you put the Evertune on... it's going to stay in tune and have better intonation than a guitar without one... just look at this video, I think it's by far the best demo of the Evertune on Youtube... but if you REALLY want to shit your pants... fast forward to 4:20 and be amazed...

....I want to say in NO way am I knocking Suhr or any high quality guitar, or comparing one to a Mexi Fender... IMO any Suhr is going to be better than ANY Mexi Strat in every conceivable way... however the simple answer is a guitar with Evertune will hold tuning better than any guitar without... you can argue with neck woods and instability but unfortunately the Evertune even compensates for that as well... I am looking to have one installed on a guitar really soon, I think it's a game changer...

Wow $330. Cool idea though

Floyd Rose is like $240... upgrade to a brass block and it's even more... that new Schaller Hannes Bridge is pretty expensive.... albeit not $330 but they don't offer near the features the Evertune does....

However it's also quite a lot more to have them installed... fucking blows...

Thanks for sharing. That loooks really cool. I like this better than the peavey guitars that have the auto tune.

Interesting. My recent strat build may be a perfect candidate for one of these.

Where do you shop?

Just typed in Origina Floyd into google and those were the prices that came up from quite a few places... I'll admit I don't play floods so maybe I'm not the best person to be talking about it... still think it's worth the money though...
