Yeah sarcasm is hard to convey electronically. Mexico has been pretty left leaning for quite awhile now. They are not stupid. Get tons of aid from our inept government, tons of bribes and kickbacks from the cartels….it can be fixed but the people need to decide to do it.

I think by the time Americans are moved to act it will already be too late, if they act at all. The same is happening across Western Europe, too little, too late, too bad.

Salvador Villalba Flores — who was to take office in October in Copala, a town of about 4,000 residents about 80 miles southeast of Acapulco — was shot dead while traveling on a highway, prosecutors in Guerrero state said in a statement.

Prosecutors said that they had launched an investigation into the murder, but declined to provide further details.

Local newspaper El Sur de Guerrero reported that Villalba was a retired Navy captain who was usually protected by National Guard escorts, but was traveling alone to Mexico City when he was killed.

"The mayor-elect was taken off the bus he was traveling on when it stopped near San Pedro las Playas" and shot, the outlet reported.

the majority are; I'm not worried about immigrants coming in through normal channels; the illegal invaders crossing the border claiming to be "refugees" that are released into the US on their own recognizance never to be seen again until the commit a felony are my concern.
