What would you say the differences/evolutions/goals etc were? Why did you change it?

Obviously, the layout is a bit different as far as the faceplate is concerned. I know a lot of people wanted a clean channel...for what I have no idea, the amp cleans up beautifully with a volume roll.

I love my red, but when buying it, the clips of the hg are what sold me.
 
Both amps have the same dirty channel. Just changed the names of the two 50w amps when we added the cleaner channel.
