Haven't seen this discussed yet, and figured it was worth bringing up:
After watching I was able to dial in my EV Force 12's mic'd with a PZM wedge to sound similar to his V30 w/57 clip, so the main thing I took away from the video is how similar very different speakers and mics can sound with judicious tweaking of the amp. My EV's still sound like EV's, but now I know how to get a reasonable facsimile of a V30 without purchasing one, if I wanted that sound.
