All you guys say that about Wagener but look at that Rack of MTS gear he's been using for a long time....Seems almost everyone here rips on that...All his stuff is Salvation Mods or Egnater and you wouldn't believe what he can do with them....

Anyway, I like the Kemper too but my MTS ain't leaving!

The modded MTS stuff is great! I bet Michael Wagener takes profiles of all his cool modules.

I'm interested in the Axe II, but I just can't fork-out $2K right now. I just purchased a Lemonburst R0... :D Some are using Axe II effects into the KPA stereo loop, which is something want to look into. I have an ADA STD-1 for chorus/doubling/flanging, and a TC2290 for delays. If the Axe II can recreate those effects with the same quality, I may consider getting one. Plus, I would have the Axe II modeling which I don't get with the TC2290.

I'm CONSIDERING getting a Kemper....can someone please explain to me how the patches work?
I know it comes pre-loaded with a few patches, but where do you get other ones and who makes the best ones? How good are the stock patches?
I did a quick search yesterday and it seems some ppl are professionally profiling and selling the patches, but they seem to be hit or miss....
I would hate to get it only to be stuck for hours buying/trying a ton of them....

There's a rig exchange where you can download free profiles from other kemper users. You can also check sites like "The Amp Factory" that sell profiles that were made in pro studios. There's probably at least 4000+ profiles out there to try out and a lot of them are really good. I'll be using my Kemper again today...got a gig at a fair.
