Might go with this guitar instead

Got some unexpected bills coming so looking at cheap stuff now to scratch the itch. These are brand new to market with decent specs and this higher model has a cool finish.

For budget guitars I prefer the tech ebony fretboards over all the Laurel and Pau Ferro crap. This has jumbo frets and is Fender part spec compatible too.
The guitar is from a known brand but not known for guitars, so I'll keep it under wraps for now for fun and to avoid potential bias. But for $250 USD shipped from Canada...not bad at all.
