Mike Squires (Loaded)'s Bogner Shiva. Is this a good deal?

Went into GC today to play a lp custom there and was surprised to find a very ragged looking bogner shiva in the platinum room. This thing was wrecked, I mean Haggard as all get out. The tolex was destroyed, the grill had very apparent stains all over it and the footswitch was mostly black from years of grime and wear. It belonged to Mike Squire from Loaded and had his settings markered onto the faceplate. Played fine. Guitar center wants $1550 for it. I cant help but feel like thats a bit much considering the level of cosmetic harm thats been dealt to it. How do you guys feel? Is 1500 bucks a good deal or a joke for what I've described?

Nah I have seen some real nice ones in the $1250-$1600 range.

Yeah. I called just now to try and talk them down on the price. "Im willing to do... 1450?". Silliness. I've seen 20th anni's in nice condition for 300 more. I just cant believe they would try to hold that firm to a middle ground price point on an amp thats the equivalent of a used car with 300,000 miles on it. But hey, if someone out there is a huge duff mckagan/loaded fan-- Its an excellent piece of memorabilia I suppose.

way too high.. 1000.00to 1100.00 is more like it..

Yeah I paid 1500 for a mint condition shiva head. I think 1100 would be about right for what you describe.
