MK VII mode on Mark VII

I actually am quite interested in this mode. Most people so far demoing the MK VII did not put too much interest in this mode, probably because they are after the classic Mark tones when buying this amp. I guess one should work with this mode, just like you have to work with a Recto to get the good sounds out of it.

 
It is a great sounding mode!
I found it works best with putting the mids up to 3 o'clock and the the treble at noon and backing down the gain. The mids and treble being higher add more gain to this circuit.

The bass should only be at 10% because it can be a bit much in this mode.
 
Wel shit about to fire mine up and try this. I really have not spent enough time in VII mode. It’s like a bonus sound
 
jesus christ everything about this video sounds like dogshit and its clearly not the amps fault

ive seen some negative comments on the vii mode, initially was hoping it was just a little bit of a revoiced extreme, but realizing that its something completely different im very curious about it

The best way I would describe it is a revoiced dual rectifier. It’s more hairy than the extreme mode on the V, which I remember being pretty smooth.
