That 3rd pot is an “Aura” control from the Hellion. It’s like a feel control. Down sharpens the attack and up fills it out.

I did the Aura control to Dan Travis’ MOAB as I added foot switching for the 4th stage and dual master volumes on his. This eliminated the need for high/ low inputs as the 4th stage is switched via relay. Pulling the gain control activates the relay to engage the 4th stage.
