1983 Elan Memran "Metalhead" Marshall JCM800 2204 50W
Price: $3250 shipped
A very rare beast. Elan Memran is mainly known for modding Dino Cazares of Fear Factory's Marshalls back in the day. This the mod you hear on Demanufacture. Has the Pull boost to engage the added gain stages, the built in noise gate on the back (which honestly works better than any noise gate I've ever used), and you can pull the bass knob for added bass. Left input is low gain JCM 800 input, right input (with bottom right gain knob pushed in) is stock JCM 800 high input. With bottom right gain knob pulled out, the added gain stages are brought into the circuit and the two bottom right knobs act as addition gain stage controls.
1991 Friedman "Jose" JCM800 Super Lead 100W 1959
Price: $2500 shipped
Dave's take on the Jose mod. The person I bought this from said it was based on the Mick Mars amp in the Pete Thorn Video. Has Dave's master volume, voice switch, Pull Gain knob to add in and control the extra gain stage, SAT switch, and Thump knob. This amp sounds incredible, you can easily go from classic rock to loads of gain.
