Modeswitcher?

Anyone tried the Carl Martin Octaswitch II for switching modes on an Einstein (with the mod done obviously)?
It seems like it would do the job via the two ext switches, but I would love to get a second opinion on that, thanks.

...oh wait, I might have spoken too soon.
Seems like it would do the channelswitching fine with one of the two ext switches, but since it only has one more external switch that one in itself won´t be able to switch between the three modes, right?

I was hoping for a controller that can switch channels, modes, between fx and with the ability to create presets.
Probably asking too much. Should hold out for the D-moll/mon and get midiswitchable fx instead I suppose.

You can use a standard stereo marshall style footswitch for modes. You just have to program which contacts are grounded for each mode. So a programmable swticher that has 2 (ftsw) style stereo outs should be compatible with the channel mode mod.

Been looking at the Musicomlab EFX Mk.III which seem great aswell, but double the price.
Anybody use that?

I´ve looked at the G-lab GSC-3 but somebody complained of a gap in sound when switching and that won´t work for me.
Don´t know if that´s the case though since I haven´t tried it myself.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
