So, I bought a Surf Green Strat made from USACG parts. Love the roasted maple neck. Cool guitar but, I'm not really a single coil in the bridge guy. So I decided to route it for a humbucker.

I did most of the routing with a drill press and forstener bit then smoothed it out with my Dremel. Then I painted it with shielding paint and put copper tape over that.

I should have took pics of the routing process but, anyway...

First pic shows original state. Cool but not me.

Couple pics of shielding.

Added a Dimarzio injector in neck and a Dimarzio Dominion in bridge. Very happy with results.

Btw, used Imgur to post pics. Destroys photsucket. So much faster.

Fuck, pics are huge! will try to figure that out.

Fixed...

Beautiful looking. You have great gear bro!!

Beautiful! Is it a 3-way switch or a 5-way and if 5-way what are the notch positions like?

Very cool. Surf green/seafoam is my favorite strat color. What's the neck radius?

I don't remember, I believe 12". That's what it feels like. I'd have to measure it.
