Mogami/ Canare cable stripper?

Thanks for the offer Zach but I'll just order some. Only thing that's stopping me from ordering Mogami is if it has a foil shield that has to be soldered to ground. I can't tell from the pics on redco's site.

What do you mean by foil shield? The ground on Mogami wire is just untwisted copper. You get the length you need, twist it, and solder it.

Thanks man! That's what I was trying to confirm. From the pic on their site it looked like foil instead of twisted wire. I'll place an order for some mogami and some ends this afternoon.

Right now I am trying to deal with an unruly copper pipe outside my house. I need to sweat off and old valve and replace it with a new one. Problem is, even with the water cut off to the house for over 2 hrs now, there is still water flowing out of the pipe I need to sweat. It's never going to get hot enough to come off with water coming out of the pipe. I don't get it, I figured after the water being off for so long and all the faucet's open it would have tapered off by now....

And my kids are screaming and fighting and I haven't eaten yet.
