i envisioned a whammy fuzz delay pedal called the casting couch.

That’s actually a good thing. Shows our white, grey, and no hair.
Horrible show in 70s but there were 3 channels of tv with pbs No choice for us. Either watch Mary Hartmann dialing for dollars or Brady bunch. Or Dr who. Show would never fly today. It was on par with Erkel. Or full house.
