More Fishin'

Been away for a bit as hobby focus has changed.

Wife and I always into fishing, but got into it more hardcore now.
Multi day overnight trips 150 miles into the Gulf Of Mexico out of Key West catching tasty fish on or near the bottom in up to 1100'.

ALl fish are super tasty DEEP water fish that eat squid, crabs, lobster and other fish.

Another NOT CHEAP hobby xs 2 :(

Some notable catches for us. Resized_20230701_215226_20230703_100108.jpgIMG_4569_20231011_083956.jpg20231010_191453.jpg20230916_154730(0).jpg20230916_143010.jpg20230916_134222.jpg20230916_073128.jpg20230915_140252.jpg20230914_153414.jpg

Great pictures man. Looks like you are living the dream. Many years in FL but never went deep sea fishing. I was always able to make dinner happen from shore. Having a boat or deep sea fishing money was a luxury I didn't have. Still, have fished a lot of waters in my time. Looks like y'all had some great adventures, and that's what it's all about. Thanks for sharing it. Be blessed.

Thank you. We are def enjoying it. This is SUPER deep seas. 150 miles offshore. Takes about 12 hours to get there from the dock.
Trying to live the life :). On the job hunt, so a bit of downer now, but other wise having a blast :)

We have a fishing trip to Puerto Rico with one of our buddies who is a Pro fisherman there.
Then April and July back to the Deep Gulf of Mexico.

So are you living in Florida now? Gulf coast or Atlantic side?

I get to Florida once a year or so. Never fished in the Gulf though. I have deep sea fished north of San Diego.
