More Queensryche drama

Oh God who cares... bunch of overly serious eyeliner'd guys taking out their prostate troubles on each other.
 
Sounds like the old boys want to go out and play some old tunes and write more like them! I am up for that.

Tate's son-in-law is going to have to pick the the vertical smile or the band. Personally, I hope he goes for the girl and DeGarmo rolls back into the camp. Until all of the legal BS is over though, that won't happen.

Physical tantrums and all, the worst part is being a snake and selling the rights to a movie without consulting the others...basically a backdoor deal. Fuckin snake. Selling property that isn't solely yours.

Tate doesn't even like metal. He has said that in the past and thinks he is all artsy. If they want to write older style Queensryche stuff and play that style, I am all for it...Tell that cojack to kick rocks.

That movie deal is the smoking gun. Some people here and elsewhere have implied the "two sides to every story" deal during the QR drama, but Geoff selling those rights and not telling the other guys is the proverbial gettin caught picking your boogers right there. GUILTY!!! Hopefully the court will throw his suit out and tell him to piss-off because of that move.

Also, I have a few actual gay friends/acquaintences... so I mean NO disrepsect to them when I say this: Geoff is a complete FAG when it comes to the artsy-fartsy, touchy-feely crap. And yet... for being supposedly "enlightened" and "sensitive", the guy would clearly slit his own mother's throat for money. Funny how that works with people like him. :gethim:
 
If they were in the middle of making some good albums I might care but after 8 stinkers in a row....
 
I'm surprised the real reason Tate won't do the older material hasn't come up yet. He can't sing the old stuff anymore! Pretty dick style move, selling movie rights behind the rest of the band's back!

I've seen some of his live stuff of the past decade and it's pretty lame. He set his own bar too high from the get-go. I remember watching the "Live in Tokyo" VHS from The Warning tour (still got that kicking around somewhere) WAY back in the 80's. Even at my tender young age at the time (teens), I was thinking "there's NO way this guy's gonna be able to keep that up for long!" :lol: :LOL:

Pretty much confirms what I'd thought all along. QR started to die before Chris left because Geoff's douchebaggery had already started to effect the writing. They ought to be sueing him for all of the stress of those years and having to put-up with SUCKING (after being so great) for so long! :lol: :LOL:


ETA: Wow... the pieces all fit together now. I'd been hearing stories of Wilton not giving a shit for many years and all kinds of crap. Now I know why! Friggin' hell... what the hell is it with lead singers that their egos are SO huge that they're like black holes... destroying EVERYTHING that gets near. Damn... :doh:
 
I miss Chris..... I know he's a pilot now, but I wish he would show up somewhere. Its sad to see all the BS unfold on the net. They should have locked everyone in a room and settled it like men rather than whining about it to people who have just about given up on them.

I do not care to see it. I saw them blow RATT off the stage back in the 1980's. I believe it was "Rage For Order" tour. "Take Hold of the Flame" was their encore song. I would hate to see them at their worst. :(
 
Actually, Parker is no longer an in-law. He was married to Miranda Tate, Geoff's step-daughter. They threw Mike Stone out of the band because Parker would be "cheaper" (you can read that in the court declarations). Supposedly, she's now with Parker's guitar tech/friend, someone named Chris.

Oh, and for vids of Geoff spitting onstage, if you look up HSBC 2012 Queensryche Jet City Woman or I Don't Believe In Love, you can see him do it. It's at 1.25 on "I Don't Believe In Love" and about 3:55 in "Jet City Woman". The "Jet City Woman" was a clear shot at Scott right over his toms...

I can see Geoff @ about 3:58 turn around and face Scott right when Michael blows a note (it must have been hell trying to concentrate on performing well that night), but I can't honestly tell if he actually spit at Scott, at least from this video. Maybe there is better video of this.


Here is IDBIL. @1:25 he starts walking back towards Scott, but again, can't tell. If he is spitting, he's the most pussy spitter I've ever seen. Not gonna get any distance if you don't get your neck into it, man!
