I LOVE how in Wilton's statements he confirms what I knew the SECOND I learned about the 2nd "Mindcrime" album (not to mention actually heard the uninspired POS)... that it was all just a money-grab that tried to cash-in on their 2nd most popular album (and without question, their climax).

It's good to have all of my suspicions for the past decade plus confirmed... but sad to actually learn that things were even more pathetic than we knew.

I do not care to see it. I saw them blow RATT off the stage back in the 1980's. I believe it was "Rage For Order" tour. "Take Hold of the Flame" was their encore song. I would hate to see them at their worst.

I can see Geoff @ about 3:58 turn around and face Scott right when Michael blows a note (it must have been hell trying to concentrate on performing well that night), but I can't honestly tell if he actually spit at Scott, at least from this video. Maybe there is better video of this.

Here is IDBIL. @1:25 he starts walking back towards Scott, but again, can't tell. If he is spitting, he's the most pussy spitter I've ever seen. Not gonna get any distance if you don't get your neck into it, man!

I know it's kind of silly to perpetuate the drama by posting these videos. So, forgive me.

I don't know.... didn't really see anything that looked that out of place other than the band stays pretty still but then again even in old shows it wasn't like they jumped around. Now the video of him telling the crowd they sucked was another thing.

I actually thought they sounded pretty good in these videos except for that blown note in the solo which happens to the best of them.

Good stuff guys. Geoff will be glad that whether or not I actually have a few gay friends is a bigger story here than his ruination of one of the greatest prog pands of all time.

I still don't feel we're getting the entire story, we're getting two stories from two parties spinning it their way.

How the hell does any man sit there and take a punch to the face and not fight back? I don't know anyone who would just take it like a bitch yet here we have two guys in the same band claiming Geoff Tate punched them in the face and spit at them. I do not understand that, someone punches me in the face its going to get real ugly real quick and I don't care if I was about to hit the stage or not. No question about them being pussies for putting up with this for so long and not kicking Geoff's sorry ass right there in front of the fans in Brazil!

As far as two sides... I'll agree that there are two sides here. Geoff's side (and NO doubt Susan's side), and the entire rest of the band/crew/witnesses' side. From what I've gather here and elsewhere, just about EVERYONE outside of the Tate family/cult/whatever is pretty much telling the same story. And Geoff and his wife and step-daughter (you know... the people who signed the movie deal and got a huge cash advance without telling the rest of the band -- not to mention have frozen the band out of their own interests, illegally piggy-backed Susan's band on QR's expenses/taxes/etc) are the only ones telling their story.

We're not a court-of-law here, so the final decisions on these wranglings will be left to a judge and/or jury to decide (as it should be). But based on what I've seen here (and over the past decade plus), it's pretty easy to judge for myself that #1) Tate is a psychopathic, egomaniacal wackjob who let his ego and his wife ruin one of the best metal bands ever, #2) Wilton/Rockenfield/Jackson are pussies who should have stopped this garbage LONG ago, and #3) DeGarmo is and always was the smart guy of this outfit.

Honestly, regardless of your POV on this and even realizing that the truth always lies somewhere in-between the two sides of a story... I dunno how anyone couldn't come to these simple conclusions after reading all of this.

I don't anyone can really come to any conclusions on any of this. We don't have the whole story so it is pretty pointless to try.

I didn't like MCI very much and certainly thought MCII sucked donkey balls.

As I said before...I know royalties towards credits are one thing, but paying money for other bands visas and tax stuff through the Queensryche business is beyond NONO. and with the movie deal the Tate's were trying to get money from...sounds like they were laundering some funds from Queensryche's other board members for awhile.

Wow... I've been following this soap opera on the QR fan board, read a few of the declarations etc. and can't really believe what's going on. All the dirty laundry being washed in the public.

GT comes off as your typical egomaniac narsissistic bullying a-hole (intelligent as well IMO) and as a guy who's being lead by a 3rd rate Yoko Ono at best while the rest of the guys, now calling themselves Rising West (is that an analogy or sthing the like?!) for the time being come off as well-mannered gentlemen who just couldn't take it (in the a*s!!!) anymore. What a real life Bold & the Beautiful like drama haha!

Now, if this has been going on for the better part of almost two decades and for example Rockenfield and Wilton have been cut out of the recording of one of their albums, why are they doing this now, why not earlier? One might argue that the 3 remaining original members are quite the pussies for not standing up for themselves long ago. As as someone pointed out, if a man gets punched usually they tend to defend themselves quite fast, not think where the hell did my contact fly... And what's the deal with the O:M movie rights sold behind other members' backs?!

All that being said I'm not in the GT camp, I'm just saying there's gotta be more than meets the eye here and the truth lies somewhere in between the two sides' stories. Wasn't there a hearing or something like that on last Friday? The documents should be online sometime today I think.

This just confirms a few of my thoughts, that DeGarmo's leaving was the start of the downfall, and that there's been a lot rotten in the QR camp for a long time in general.
