More Roccaforte Jose Mod Clips added 5 way rotary clipper switch

Wanted more versatility. This things covers tons of tone now from clean to menacing.

First up is a short teaser of a pickup I did for my Squier Classic Vibe. It's temporarily called the R'hiskey. Half way between the Roxy and Whiskey. Tight and articulate mids and high mids like the Roxy, but more low end, harmonics, and dynamics of the Whisky



Next, Wicked 8 in a basswood Tom Anderson



Lastly, the low clipper settings with the Wicked 8. This pickup splits really well with the neck pickup. The bass boost pull function really fills out the bottom.

The finish on that Red Tom Anderson is incredible. Is it called Red Bowling Ball, Red Swirl or something like that?

Hey @scottosan, can you elaborate on the clipping options? Not technically but sonically. Most of us know OFF/ON and maybe Modern/OFF/Vintage or something.
 
Typically, I'd just say classic rock/modern, but since it's 5 ways, it's more versatile than that. Its basically off, 24v, 20v, 16v, 12v, so it goes from just tubes to slight clipping and smaller increments up to modern, obviously take a bigger volume hit as each zener value gets lower

Bowling ball. Ray's guitar. Love it. The Whiskey pup sounds waaaaaay better in it than the Tonze Zone that was in there.
Sucker plays and sounds great. I want one like it.

And the Roccaforte, too. Anyone have a Custom 80 sitting around? I need to go ahead and finish off all hearing in my left ear.

I literally just order a Wicked 8 and a Sunset Strip few minutes ago

I’m fired up to put this in my Burnt Tiger!
