Need some help finding a quality rack effects processor that is user friendly with my Marshall JMP-1

The simpler, the better. any ideas?

Multi-effects, as a whole, aren't all that user friendly.

if you have the budget, maybe consider getting a helix rack and pairing it with your JMP-1? it'll allow you to WSYIWYG edit your effects chain using PC software.

Yeah came to suggest this as well. Super easy interface for programming. No need for the editor even, IMHO.

I was looking for the same thing a while back and the TC Electronic M-ONE "standard" fit the bill.

On the cheaper side of things, Rocktron Intellifex are pretty simple to use..and sound good. I recently grabbed a Lexicon MPX 1 and it is a step up tonewise to the Rocktron, but it's far from easy lol. I just have a few fav presets and have fun with those. You can find the Intellifex and a Midi mate pedal for less than 200 usually.....The Intellifex does have the 8 voice chorus that makes it unique, and some players that have the big dogs(H8000, PCM 81, TC 2290) still keep an Intellifex around just for that feature.

If you just need basic chorus, delay, reverb etc the TC G Sharp is hard to beat for simplicity. Twist the knobs, press and hold "store", done. As easy as a pedal. It will only do one effect + reverb at a time, but the effects sound pretty good.

I also find the g-major super easy to use but I've been using it for more than a decade so that's probably why...

I want the same thing. I’m half tempted to buy another Axe FX because I like the editor. I wish they’d make a 1 space effects only unit. I currently have a Lexicon MPX1 but as was mentioned above, it’s a pain in the ass to get programmed. Sounds good though. I have some Eventide H9s that are easy to program with the iPhone app. Also just considering putting those on a rack shelf

Get some Strymon shit?

This thread has me wanting to break out my old Alesis Midiverb III.
Don’t think I can recommend it, though. It’s cheap and easy to use, but surely there’s better sounding stuff out there.
Although, Midiverbs have been used by Buckethead and Phil Collen (with his JMP-1), so they can’t be absolutely horrible.

Ben there. I prefer the H9s, would just rather have it in rack form
