Only two of us said anything negative. People are entitled to their opinions... don't get so butt hurt because people don't like the same stuff you do. Seriously, though. You can't tell me for a minute that this song is anything but pure freaking recipe. If you did, that would be bullshit.

I like it, the first song was better. This one has a tiny bit of old school mixed in with a lot of the later Meh-tallica BUT I will take it.

To me it is the best thing they have done is years but I do think Kirk either lost his mojo or got tired of shredding. With that said new Megadeth kills this Metallica album and buries it. Dude Brah.

I liked how the song branched off and didn't do a typical verse/chorus. Some cool parts that really added to the song.

I'm a diehard Metallica fan and although the two songs so far have not been anything mind blowing, I'm happy that they are putting out great songs.

Like others, I'm really looking forward to the album. I finally feel like Metallica has found a balance between their great past, experimental LOAD/RELOAD period, and new sound. I loved Death Magnetic and to a certain, lesser degree, St. Anger but they were kind of one dimensional and lacked depth. Feeling good about where they are.

Make no mistake, Metallica definitely had to step up their game after their buddies in Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth put out great records this year.

The guy plays lead guitar in arguably the biggest band that ever was.... he's missing an opportunity IMO. (and has for a long time)

The rest of the band tries stuff at least.

The Kirk hate is getting really really old.

Almost as old as his wah-solo that he's repeated since sandman.

From first listen, the solo licks were direct rips from 4 solos in other songs. He stats with his classic blues-in-a-metal-song triad thing, sliding into key up the whole fretboard, goes into the usual weedly-weedly which is the same 6 or so notes he always plays and puts wah on to make it sound like he's playing something interesting.

I should put a video together comparing each part of the solo to the older songs where he plays the same damn thing. So lame.

Yes, you should...take all the time you need and come back when you finish it proper.

Opinions are fine...it is the same comment year after year after year that gets old. Nobody can talk Metallica without bashing Hammet. Nobody can mention Alice in Chains without some RIP Layne...he was the best bullshit or revert better yet that Nickleback sucks. Too predictable, try harder. I am sure if Kirk was coming to all the haters hometowns they would be clamoring for the meet and greet/selfie/autograph line like an excited virgin in a brothel full of hot women and having just downed a bottle of viagra.

Have to say I really like both the new songs so far. Really looking forward to this new album way more than I thought I would. Wasn't a big fan of of St. Anger or Death Magnetic but this album seems to be more of what I love about Metallica. They will never beat their first 4 albums but this is pretty damn solid IMO.

I haven't bought a Metallica album since Master of Puppets. I didn't bash Metallica for their success. I said that, in my opinion, James and Lars are crybaby bitches. I also said that I do not think they have written any good songs since the black album. I never once said anything about Kirk.

I never said they suck.

I never said I was better than they are.

I only gave my opinion.

I don't like this song, The chorus sounds autotuned and it's a formula song.
