... is one kick'n album!!!

What amps was Mick using on this?
Sounds like Soldano & Marshall mixed with a direct sound...?

Sounds huge, fat and very aggressive.
Some great songs and awesome vocals and guitar tones!!

Keith

My favorite Crue cd by far. I have no idea what gear was used though, sorry. FYI, if you dig enough on youtube, you'll find some unreleased stuff from the corabi era. Gonna go throw on that album right now! \m/

Great CD. Dont know why peeps tend to forget about that one. There are some deep drop tunnings on that bad boy. MC was using low tunnings way before Nu metal and todays rock and metal

I remember there was a Soldano Add for that Album with Mick and Corabi on it both playing SLO'S...
What a ripping album!

Definately some good songs, i liked it when it came out but it didnt seem like motley to me and i never appreciated it until many years later.

There is a cool rehearsal vid from that album up on youtube. Soldanos and marshalls.

What was that one song Poison Apples or Pretty Apples??? Anyways that's a cool tune.

They should have used a different name on that disc, the Crue fans did not like it and people that did not like crue did not give it a chance.

Huge sounding cd with some attitude, Hooligans Holiday is awesome.

My thoughts exactly. They might have been more successful with that line up if they'd have had a different name. I thought it was a strong album, but I couldn't hear it without missing Vince Neil. He's not a spectacular singer by any means, and I think Corabi's more talented, but it wan't Motley without Vince.

Hey Keith,

Compliments of the season! I HATED Motely Crue!!! However...that album was ok and tone is crushing - Im an ignoramus when it comes to Motely Crue...could never get past the vocals of either of their singers...

I just got the latest Danger Danger CD, its got some kicking tunes on it - No Timmons, but still pretty cool.
