Hey Rig-Talkers, I’m moving out of the state I was born in, and trying something else in for size. Any rig-talkers in Colorado? Me and my fam are moving just south of Denver. It’d be nice to find some folks in the new place. Whatcha got Rig-Talk?!

Just more proof that the once great state of California is in collapse. Congrats on escaping... hopefully you see the error in California's policies.

Even Elon Musk is leaving, that should tell you everything you need to know. All that will be left is Hollywood elites, Silicon Valley elites and the poor.

Not there anymore but lived there for 8+ years.

Go back every once in a while for work and to see friends.

There’s quite a few guys from the forums there between RT 7String and GGF. Tom (GSXRBusa) is down in Co Springs (about 90 mins south) and he’s got a fuckin MASSIVE amp collection and he’s a super nice guy.

Also a huge doom/stoner rock scene there when shows get back up, seeing Khemmis is a favorite.

Wildwood Guitars is about 25-30 mins north of Denver, Drumcityguitarland is in Arvada off 44th and Wads.

Only thing I don’t love anymore is the traffic; it’s way worse than when I lived there but coming from LA you’re probably used to it.

You said south of Denver, close like Parker or further like Castle Rock or Co Springs?

Castle Rock. We are temporarily in Aurora, waiting on our CA house to go to market, but we have a contingent offer accepted on a house in Castle Rock.

I'm in CA, family and I want out. Hate this place.

If I were moving to Colorado I'd be tempted to go to South Park.

At least I'd be guaranteed late-night booty calls from Cartman's mum.

Nice man, you’re not too far from everything. Skiiing in Vail and Breckenridge, Tom is about 45-60 south of you, guitar stores I mentioned before are decently close.

What do you do for work, are you going to have to commute or no?

I’ll be working for a company called Design Works...corporate event entertainment management.
