Was talking about running my 2 amps together with a couple members here.
One member here Jackbootedthug sent me a PM saying he had a couple of pedals he would hook me up with!!
Steve has been super cool thru the years. Really really appreciated him hooking me up.
Sent me a CF7 CHorus Factory and a DD3 Digital delay.
Gonna be running the 2 FJA amps in stereo thru the 2 Lynch Box 4x12's......
Cant wait!! :D

I am a total Noob at running 2 amp heads together like this and any info from members would be greatly appreciated.
Steve was giving me tips on it.....but as NOOBISH as I am at this....almost need it drawn out in Crayon.
Here is a pic of the Goods!!
Thanks again Brother!

You already got the stereo pedals so you are kinda done.

You could put a boost on one of the front of the amps. Set it for a volume change. so you can have a dominant tone.

Looking forward to the massive wall of metal beat down

Yeah......I am really pumped about it.
Two very different tones for sure. But both very thick sounding. Cant wait.

Once you go stereo, it's tough to go back to mono....

You've been warned!!! :salute:

Yea, you'll never go back to running one amp. The difference is HUGE!

I like one amp clean and one overdriven. makes it sound so much more clarity and fuller :m4: from this  TO THIS :rawk:

your welcome bro. once you get used to running like this, your never going to want to run through one amp again. i would just like to see the expression on your face when you get them setup and hit that first chord.

man, there's so much you can do with a stereo amp rig. dial one for low end and low mids, dial the other for uppers and highs.....stack the cabs....split the cabs. wet dry. etc etc.

you'll probably experience some type of ground loop. some people will recommend using a 2/3 prong adapter to lift one of the amps ground. i only do this when all my amps/rack stuff is powered from my furman, that way, even if you lift the ground, it's still grounded through the other amp with minimal risk of shock.

that's a whole nother animal though...and may require you to do some research about it to solve any issues. i understand that the lehle boxes solve this issue at the box, with no risk of shock. also, some of the radial gear does too.

have fun. a stereo rig is killer sounding....and those FJA amps together will fucking crush, and you'll find you wont need either of them as loud together as you do by themselves....i LOVE stereo rigs.

Ok....now walk a dummy thru this set up.
I have 2 100 watt heads....2 4x12's....
so My guitar.....then.... into......
I am imagining its one head per cab....but the effects are run in front with the cables splitting off into each input of each head? Anything run in the loop of either amp?
Sorry....just trying to figure this tonal goodness out. :D

This x100! I run a Bassman with my 2203 and it sounds huge. You get a lot of articulation on arpeggios and a much wider/clear sound.

Try the wet dry. It is simple. Put an EQ in the loop send to the slave. It changes the slave amp to make it sound a bit like a different wet amp.

So much to try

Cool man....I cant wait to rock this. I think I have to pick up a few more cables....but thats a spit in the bucket.
Probably got a few in a cupboard while I think of it.
Make a difference if the Chorus or delay is 1st in the chain?

I prefer chorus before delay. Chorus can sound very different up front or in the loop. I'd run the chorus up front to split the signal and put the delay in the loop of one amp. I've never been able to get delay to sound good in front of a distorted amp. It works fine in front of clean or crunch, but sounds odd and fizzy in front of a dirty amp. Of course, ymmv.

I run through my RJM RG-16 and split off to 3 amps. My Axe II runs 4cm through my Mk V for effects. The Mk III and 20th Xtc is run with a splash of reverb only. Got that?   I would run effects into one amp only with your setup. But (if) since you have a stereo chorus pedal guitar into that and 2 cables- one going to each amp. Run any pedals off of one side of the chorus, if it was me. There are a number of ways to do it. Try a few and see how it works and sounds for you.

Whats cool is while both my amps are pretty agressive....both are very different in tones.
I really like to Run the Modded Windsor with the gain kicked WAAY back....think (Foghat/Zepplin/Kiss) and the Recto little more modern. Should be a killer blend.

Yeah... I don't blend both mesa amps together at all but Mesa/Bogner is great

i always used the delay to split the signal. if i remember correctly(been years!!!) guitar to delay, then using both outs from the pedal to the amps. this would let me run one of the amps slightly delayed. just a massive sound. i think thats how i did it anyway.
