Hi, I'm looking for a high gain distortion pedal for humbucker guitar into a clean amp,
Here are some pedals seem quite nice for high gain:
Mad professor Mighty Red, EMMA ReezaFratzitz, Carl martin Plexitone, XTS Atomic,
MI super crunch box, Barber Dirty bomb.
Which one you recommend?
Thanks!

I use a Red with a Twin Reverb every weekend and the tone is fantastic.
The Red is perfect for the Blackface circuit.

Many thanks for recommend, I checked some youtube clips of Bogner Red, It seems sound a tad muddy in low end, and midrange sounds quite stress, curious how it perform in actual play?
Just found the Bearfoot Dyna Red Hot Distortion and Maxon RTO-700 sound pretty good also, Any further advice, experience of them would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Interesting. I can pile on ridiculous amounts of gain and not be muddy.
I'm not sure what you mean by stressed mids. My mids sound fantastic. Bogner chewy.

What I saw was these clips:

Maybe is different miking.
Dose it sounds just like you actual playing?

I'm not sure what type of mics they use at pro guitar shop but everything they use/demo sounds like a mild fuzz to my ears.

Guitar world is no better, everything sounds like a transistor radio or solid state head.

I would think this is a better representation of the pedal:

Guitar World reviews.

I like the Andy from the other vids, but unlike 99% of guitar players he uses his fingers and not a pick. Hit tone is soft and is not a good representation of any piece of gear. I can't believe that is how they do their reviews. :(

Found another clip of Bogner Red

This one sounds better, a review really require decent miking.
