Guys like Picasso, PLX and Findthetone have been outright homophobic and vindictive assholes in the past here. That first fucknuckle started the whole groomer and pedophile accusations and then leveled up by editing and reposting shots of me including one in front of a WW2 memorial which tells you everything you need to know about someone like that.

99% of people out there wouldn’t do that. I’ve never stooped to trawling the internet to find personal details about them, simply because a) who’s got the time and b) I don’t want or need to.

Installing rules to ban behaviour that 99% of decent people would never even think of doing is going to tie up the Mods’ time no end -

Long story short I believe the first part of the Old Testament of the Bible is true. The first 5 books which are the books common to the Torah I have no problem with. Things diverge through the 12 or so historical books dating up until around 500 BCE.
In the ancient Hebrew, Yahweh (Jehovah) was a leader of the Bronze Age Paleo-Semitic/Shasu peoples who venerated him as a member of a broader group of Elohim.

I think the New Testament is outright manipulated bullshit, reinterpreted by post Roman governments to instil dogma and control over a culturally diverse Middle Eastern and European population. The original ancient Hebrew text never indicates the existence of a monotheistic deity. In other words, the One God song and dance is complete tripe.

The Catholic Church is to Christian Europe (Christendom) what Islam is to Arabia. Geopolitical unification.
The Dark Ages are the oppression of any non Catholic knowledge begun by Constantine as the Church gained power and control. Who knows what we lost. The rest of history including the Protestant split and the Reformation is well known.

Edit: I don’t believe the creation myth as its represented in the King James/NIV translations.
I would love to read a direct literal transcription of those first OT books.

Work didn’t cause my outburst, the swastika on Cliff from Fractal was the proverbial straw…everything else just kinda led up to it. We can always “circle back “ to it if needed. While not a good idea to put personal information on here, I think it’s distasteful for it to tampered with and reposted. I would prefer that family members be left out of things as well. IMO…
