This guy plays them and they sound good through his Mesa MK5. I had never even heard of these before, but they are priced quite inexpensively. They make them with and without a Floyd. Just wondering.

Just looked at a article from a guitar mag. You get quite a bit for your cash. They have the buzz feiten system, two mini toggles for series or parallel in either humbucker, compound radius, alder body, maple top, some kind of a new Floyd that supposedly works great, and maple neck.

I guess Michael Tobias is known for making basses. But, the reviews for these are pretty good. If you follow the link , that dude gets some good tones with his and his Mesa Mk5. I had never heard or seen of one of these til I saw that guys lessons.

I was just curious if anyone has experience with these. They go for 700 or 800 new, and you get a lot for that. I didn't watch the full vid above, I wonder if he switched the pickups out?

Fwiw I had a Kingston Artist series bass for a while. For the price it had excellent build quality and playability!

I don't know about the guitars but I am one of their emerging artists on their site and own a Kingston Artist series 5 string and it is awesome for the $$$. The MTD stuff is really well made.
