Tell me about them. I've never played one. There's not any anywhere close to where I live to try out. I've played the Axis and it's killer. I liked it a lot. Anybody have any experience with the Silhouette, or Silhouette Special?

Well, I know it's a bit different, but I just ordered a Silo Baritone/6-string bass. Played them a few times and LOVE them.

I don't really play out anymore, but I've been thinking of moving from PRS to EBMM, for what that's worth.

I've had both and regret selling both of them. The special was alder and the regular silo was ash with a floyd. Sold the special to buy a Mathews compound bow because I'm a deer hunting freak ;) The ash silo was bright and I didnt spend enough time or money with pickup swaps to make it right...but damn did that thing play and feel incredible

All ebmm guitars are great. You cant go wrong with any model

Yep EBMM are a little different. After owning a Strat, BC Rich Mockingbird Archtop Supreme and Washburn N4 I got an EBM JP6BFR. The EBMM took a little adjusting to. The neck is small and so are the frets. That was the biggest adjust. However it sounds and plays better than pretty much anything I've ever touched. The smaller frets aren't a big deal to me anymore but If I were to get another EBMM I make sure the frets were a little bigger. All that said I hardly play my other guitars. The EBMM is the best guitar I own. Sounds great and plays like a dream. I think the quality of EBMM is as good as anything out there. Oh and one last comment. EBMM tend to be smaller guitars. To me this is one of the reasons they are so comfortable.

Had a 92 Silo with a recessed Floyd, and it is THE ONE guitar I regret selling.
It was H/S/H and 24 frets. Played like butter as do all EBMM guitars.

SEE....Now I'm pissed again

There there... there there...

Yeah EBMM are pretty sweet. I love mine. Fellow forumite ratter has an old EVH model that is easily one of the very best sounding guitars I've played in my life.

The good news is you can get used Silos for pretty cheap.

The ones with Floyds are hard to come by though. At least I sold my Silo with a floyd to my best friend  :D
