Just read an article (Sure it was old) but Where
EVH said they recorded Panama based off of another band/style.

So got me the idea how many other nuggets.....factoids....are out there.
At this time if you got some triva question....post it and see how many music gurus are out here (Sure alot!)

Dont cheat and google the answer. It will take out the fun of the game.
So anyone else interested in seeing if they can stump the Rig talk gang? ;)

Does anyone know the answer for the Panama question?
No cheating. :D

No clue, even after trying to cheat...

Pat Boone?
Lol. Close. Said they wrote it with a AC/DC vibe in mind after coming off tour with them. Thought that was interesting.

Oh tricky question...

Here's one:

What "classic album" was recorded in a former Beatle's house and made use of cutlery as sound effects?

Yeah, he wouldn't join unless Vinnie could join too. Good for them.

Only guitarist to guest solo on a Sabbath album? Bonus points for album name and triple point for the name of the song...

AC/DC.

IIRC, wanting Eddie came off a tour with AC/DC, was blown away by the energy of their live show, and wanted to capture that in a song.

FWIW, EVH considered Bon Scott the perfect lead singer for a rock band. I have to agree!

Edit: Crap! You already posted the answer, Mailman! LOL...

Steel Panthers Michael Starr played in a popular LA tribute band... Name it.

Bonus points...

Also recorded an album with a sleazy LA band...name the band.

Holy crap Brian May played on a Black Sabbath album? How cool is that?
This is why I wanted to start this thread. Just little things that slipped by that no one noticed. THe fine details.

Mike Starr was in Atomic Punks, but not sure if that is the answer to your question

Killing me......not to google...
