Well?

Here for two days staying in the heart of lots of frozen fountains.

Screw MF, eat at Oklahoma Joe's BBQ

I'm a Texan who thinks most KC BBQ sucks ass, but Oklahoma Joe's is awesome. Everytime I visit my sister in KC, I always visit there.

Funny you say that, going there tomorrow for lunch

Cool. They have 2 locations. One is in a gas station that is kind of small. The other is a normal restaurant in a strip mall.

What kind of guitar you on the hunt for? Or just the 60% off kind.

For 60% off my search gets a tad wider

Cant remember the name, last year we ate at some bbq joint by the old train station?? All I remember is that it was good and the KC girlies were even better

I think I know the place your talking about. Fiorella's Jack Stack? They are famous for their "burnt ends".

I think that is Jack Stack you're thinking of. It's good, but Oklahoma Joe's is better! Just get there early- the line gets big by 11am, at least at the original gas station location.

There was a radio ad fairly recently indicating that the MF Warehouse was closing... not sure if it's happened yet or not. I don't remember the hours for sure but IIRC something like 10a-7p is what it used to be. Not having any luck pulling it up on the MF site though.

Make sure you knock back a couple of Boulevard beers while you're here too! Good stuff-

Scott - three times I went to the MFKC warehouse, it was basically a ton of damaged/returned shit. They had acoustic guitars you could drive a motorcycle through or with necks broken for more than they were worth.

Might be fun to gawk, but I doubt you find anything cool.

When you come to Tulsa if you have time we can do a Pawn Shop search - I'll find ya something interesting!

Pete
