I can tell by the way he types, he types fat and ugly and smelly.
That def doesn't describe the guy at all tbh and I say this as someone who has disagreed with Dan pretty vehemently on a variety of subjects outside music gear and even some things within music gear cough kemper cough cough lol.

I said: HECK YEAH THAT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD TIME TO ME ESPECIALLY IF WE ALL MET DOWN IN MISSISSIPP FOR SOME BLUES, BREWS, AND BARBECUES AT THE JUKE JOINT FESTIVAL NEXT APRIL

Are strandbergs allowed at blues jams?
It would def raise a few eyebrows I think, lol....

I bring my Viper but it's sort of SG shaped so it gets a pass. If I brought a strandberg to the usual jams here they would probably think I wasn't right in my head any longer, if they don't think that already.

I got a 6 string HSS strandberg not too long ago and it’s a killer blues guitar. It’s been 10 years since I shopped for single coils so I’m kinda pumped for the adventure

Got any SC's in mind for it?
I’m not really sure. Outside of tele pickups, single coils are pretty foreign to me.
The only ones I’ve ever bought were Joel Dyer “greasy hots” from TGP way back. Bought then cause the name was cool but ended up being pretty sweet.

I’m torn between the hotter rock stuff or the more vintage surfy tone. I’m thinking hotter to keep up with a bridge humbucker.
I’d like to get something from Manlius as he is usually my go to winder. I have an old p90 from rumpelstiltskin that I really like too though so I’m curious about his single coils

OR the other route would be to put a Wolfetone Legend humbucker I have kicking around in the bridge, and just talk to the Wolfetone dude what he suggests for singles to match. His stuff is great and very reasonable $$.
I might even buy some cheesy chrome covers to complete the stainless look of the bridge
