Just added the MXR Analog Chrus to my board and so far I like it, took me a little bit of tweaking knobs to dial in what i like and get used to the chorus range. I bought this one because I liked the Boss CE-5 controls and figured it be the same sound but the MXR sounds much better and the High and Low knobs are more responsive, sounds thick with the BE-OD kicked in.... very cool chorus pedal.

Best chorus I have had. Makes me want to sell my Analogman.

I did sell my Analogman Chorus and keep the MXR a while back. Still have no regrets.

I've had the Analogman chorus standard version several years ago and while it's a nice chorus I didn't keep it either mainly because it didn't have a level knob, I think the MXR sounds just as good and is a lot cheaper. I picked it up new at GC for $89

Love my MXR Analog Chorus as well, with one big 'but...':
when used in an fx-loop (especially one that's footswitchable/true bypass), to me the loss in high-end when the pedal is off, is quite noticable.

It's relegated to bedroom duty in the loop of my Mark V:25 now, because if it didn't have that problem, it'd be on my live-board, replacing a Mooer Ensemble King.
The CE-5 and especially the CH-1 both hold no candle to the MXR's tone.

Have you compared against the Jacques Meistersinger Chorus?

Curious as I am always looking for upgrades and have settled on that pedal and the JamPedals waterfall for quite some time.

No, never played the Jacques but heard good things.

I bought a TC Electronic Corona Mini, mostly for economy of real estate on my pedalboard. But I'm not in love with it. It doesn't sound robust enough, no matter my settings. Anyone have one and think the MXR one crushes it?

-gotta love any analog modulation effect-

-my search ended with a rack mount BOSS CE-300 SUPER CHORUS, and it might be the best clean boost I have ever used, regardless if the chorus is engaged or bypassed, besides an analog delay, there the only pedals I have left.

Well you already sold one to me.  I really dig it but sort of feel the same way. It's an awesome sounding effect and is really thick but the MXR sounds so good and has more control. It's more of a "shimmery" chorus while the AM is based on the Small Clone which has that distinct sound that I really like but am not sure I want as my main chorus sound anymore.

The Boss Waza CE-2 is really tempting me too.

Yeah, I sold that one because I thought I had to have the Bi Chorus and fat switch.
