Has anyone used the mxr carbon copy analog delay and noticed that it takes away the brightness edge from your amp tone, which i noticed and dont like would a digital delay like the Boss put back the brightness-edge back to my tone.

I have the same experience with mine, but I like it. It gives my sound that warm, gooey, analog richness for leads. Try a digital and you'll probably be happy. I use both depending on what I"m playing.

Yeah in the end I just don't gel with syrupy analog delays.I went back to an old DD-2 and I'm happy once again

In short, yes.

And this seems to be the resounding consensus amongst most RT threads discussing the MXR CC.

Are most running the CC in the FX loop or in a pre-amplifier FX chain? Might make a little difference. It definitely cuts some top end but that's a give in due to the design.

Funny. Im having the oposite problem with my Memory Toy I just bought. Brightens the signal up a little. Really noticable with single coils

The CC is a great delay for "that" analog delay tone.
I find that the CC definitely sounds better in an amp with a GOOD loop.
I hate almost every delay in front of an amp except for the Eventide Time Factor, which even sounds way better in a loop.
The CC is for that vintage type tone.
Also great for those EVH Cathedral type things.
I have 2 of them.
If anyone wants my spare...$100
