What do you guys think of this power supply?
I am planning to build a rig and i can't decide which power supply to get.Either the MXR or the Voodoo Lab PP2.
Right now i have these pedals

- Boss Super Chorus
- MXR Zakk Wylde Berzerker Overdrive
- TC Electronics Hall of Fame
- MXR EVH Flanger
- MXR EVH Phase 90
- MXR Phase 100

The next pedal will be the TC Electronics Flashback X4.
Maybe i will also buy the Dunlop Rackmount Wah 2sr.

Sounds good.
But i would like to know if someone has experience with the MXR.

a friend has one, it's huge basically a 19" rack, won't fit under a pedaltrain without raising everything up, i think it's overkill for what you have

to be honest what you've listed i'd suggest a Carl Martin Pro Power -- which is 122 euro .. 8 9v isolated outs - 6 @ 150ma and 2 @ 350ma (good for strymon/eventide)

I recently got one, been very happy with it, fantastic spec for the price, fits under a pedaltrain nicely (i've just attached it with velcro/no screws)

Hey Metaddict
Is use the MC403 to power my board. I got it mostly cuz I have have fairly large board and needed the options of 9vAC (for my Digitech Whammy) and 18vDC taps. The Voodoo Lab PP2 doesn't do AC (they have a separate unit for that).
In case you get pedals in the future that have 18vDC option, then you have 4 dedicated taps for that. The PP2 can do it, but you'd have to use a Y cable and you lose a tap.

It doesn't look like you need 18v or AC based on your pedals, but I looked up the Dunlop 2SR which looks like it needs to use its own 20v adapter. The MC403 has a courtesy power jack in case you need. (I think the PP2 does too.)
The MC403 does have two taps that have variable voltage so maybe you can combine the two using a Y cable to total 20v (can't tell you if this is safe for the unit or not. Should be?)
the MC403 might be good for you if you want the flexibility to expand your board in the future.

It does the job of keeping my pedals reliably powered and more importantly QUIET.
Yes, it's big, but I don't even notice it cuz it sits neatly underneath my Trailer Trash board.

Thanks for your information.
Actually i want to use all these via midi (Voodoo Lab GCP and GCX), so everything will be in a Case. The Dunlop DCR 2SR will be a little problem but the decision to buy it hasnt been made.I think it is very cool.

I believe the MXR Flanger has 18v.Thank you for bringing up the Whammy.I have one but the IV Generation which i want to sell to buy the V Genration because it is DC and not AC anymore.
