My drummer dropped dead at our gig tonight.

My deepest sympathies go out to you, your bandmates and the family of Todd. May he rest in peace. It's so far-fetched to think these changes in life occur so quickly and then... it happens. Best regards,

Very sorry for your loss, also his family's. A real shame for such a young man to pass away.
 
I thought the topic line was the start of a morbid joke...wow, that's unbelievable. I'm really sorry to hear this-so tragic.

I almost wrote the same thing. If there we anything positive, it's that he was able to enjoy doing what he loved right to the end.

My condolences to you, man.

Unfortunately, I have also dealt with a very similar situation. My old drummer, and one of my very good friends, died not at a gig but at his house completely suddenly. Was talking to his wife one minute and fell over dead the next. Cardiomyopathy was the cause.
 
sincere condolences go out to family and friends, so quick, unknown, and young. im sure its still something that hasnt quite sank in yet with everyone; being as though it was so quick and odd. Please post up anything on the biopsy they find. Hope the family is doing well and if you feel the need to post up anything more to talk it over on RT go ahead bro, RT is here for you during these tragic times.
