I was previously using my EVH 5150-III EL34 S combo and my Friedman JJ Jr. prior to that with my band and today was the first spin with the new amp. It just kills! Whether with pedals or blue channel alone, it kills.

I used my Keeley Oxblood and Keeley D&M off and on to boost the blue channel today but the blue channel sounded great even without those.

I'm planning on getting an Ibanez TS9 to boost eventually but even now, just such a great tone out of a 1x12 EVH speaker. My drummer plays super loud Gretsch drums made out of human souls and oak from 2000 year old trees or something. They are super loud. I had the volume at like 10 or 11 o clock and could hear myself really clear.

Had presence at 9 o'clock, Treble at 10 o'clock and mids at 1 o'clock. Great purchase!!

It's a great Amp. Mine doesn't get the playing time it deserves, but it ain't goin anywhere.

When I had that amp I lived on the blue channel and hit it with a Green Rhino. Sounded damn good.

Yup. I live on the blue with a precision drive, which I set tightness based on the tuning of each axe.

I consider it to be a HOF amp. I used the 50 watt in an 80s/90s cover band and it delivered versatile, consistent stellar tone at every venue. It also has the best channel switching of any amp I’ve owned. Never needed a noise gate, either. Size to power ratio is great as well.

An 5150 of some sort should be in any collection . I have Stealth that records great .When I record local bands it gets used a lot

I keep hearing good things about the Stealth. I need to try one.
