I am pretty speachless about the amount of replies and those who know me know I am a motor mouth so that is saying something :) Thank you so much for taking the time to post something as the kind words do help.

Thanks again everyone, I stopped in while researching things for my mother, it seems you now have to pay for the burial box if you have requested a veterns burial. She is a tad overwelmed with the portfolio my father left, it is a pure fixed income producing vehicle and was asking why she had to draw before the new year. I am going to have my hands full for awhile.

My mother gave my wife a Cartier silver platter that my father had from IBM and several 2010 calenders he was saving for her from the WWF..World Wildlife Fund btw......because my wife loves wolves and she just broke down finally.

Sorry for the rambling......it helps.

Sorry to hear this news Scott. It sounds like your Dad was a great man. R.I.P., and peace to you & your family.

Prayers and Mojo sent. I unfortunately know all to well what it is like to lose a parent....

Sorry to hear that man
But glad that you had a good relationship with him
So many people now days show no respect for their parents or have no relationship with them at all. Thank God for that

Hi Scott - sorry to hear about your loss. Passing my best to you and your family. Heartfelt condolences.

My prayers are with you and your family. Very sorry to hear the news. I hope you find comfort soon.

Scott,

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your father, but very happy to hear that you had such a great father/son relationship with him. None of us get out alive, so to speak, so I figure it's always a success story when the time we get to spend with our loved ones are as fullfilling as it sounds yours was with your father.

Take care...

Bob

Much love and condolences sent from the mctallica1 clan Scott.

I just read through this thread and I have tears in my eyes. Not because of your loss, which, I am terribly sorry for.....but for the relationship I am so happy you had with your dad.

Sorry for your loss bro. You and your family will be in my family's hearts and prayers. It's great you got to speak with him and share that moment with him before he left.

Sorry to see this bro. My parents are both in their 60s and not in good health either, I know it will only be a matter of time before I'm posting something like this and it really makes me nauseous. I think about it more than I should and it bums me out, I can only imagine when it actually goes down, it will be devastating. You've got a massive support system here and we're all willing to help you deal . Keep your head up.

My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
