My first custom guitar thread! Switchback Guitarworks

So I am sure a lot of you guys have seen Mike (Ratter here on the board) of Switchback Guitarwork's post in the Classifieds selling his Countryboy prototypes. I fell in love with the design of the sunburst one in the middle. The humbucker in the bridge with a P90 in the neck and the trem; just so unique and classy!

In fact, I almost purchased that one, but decided to just go ahead and commission from him one to my slightly altered specs. I'm not a fan of relics per say, so here is what I ordered:

Country Boy
flame maple neck and fretboard
abalone gots
Swamp ash body
white/ blonde finish
tort guard
humbucker in bridge/ P90 in neck
trem

I'll keep you guys updated as the guitar is made. We are looking at a 12 to 16ish week build time.

Mike is a gentleman and as honest as they come, I have no doubt you will receive a fantasic instrument at a good price considering the amount of work he will put into it. He is the true small builder in the shed we all picture when we buy a true hand crafted guitar.
