Hey guys, so here is my cover of Larry Carlton's solo in Steely Dan's 'Kid Charlemagne'. It isn't a super technical solo, but there are a couple tricky spots and it's tough to nail all of the bends and vibrato like Larry. My cover is far from perfect. Oh well, I had fun learning it.

For those curious I used a Bassman patch in the Axe FX Ultra with a Visual Sound Open Road pedal out front. The guitar is a G&L Bluesboy. Nothing too fancy; I just got a somewhat close approximation of Larry's tone (with a Tele in my case).

Sounds Great! Now I got the hankering to listen to some more Steely Dan today.

It's a cool solo, one that uses unique note choices. Steely Dan was really something else.
