So last week I bought this GORGEOUS ESP USA Gaudesi Horizon.

It's really an amazing guitar with top notch materials & workmanship. I REALLY wanted to love it. Unfortunately, the tone just isn't what's in my head.
So, back on the auction block it goes..

The thing is, my MIK JH-600 kills it in tone. At least MY tone. This is the third time this has happened, last year it sent a bolt-on ESP KH-2 packing. That guitar had one of the best necks I've played, but it required a boost to even try to keep up with the Hanneman. The year before it sent a LTD KH-Ouija packing as well. I have a LOT of
about that one but the tone just couldn't keep up! At the end of the day looks are awesome but tone FTW!
