Just paid my invoice, with any luck i will get it back by Friday so i can gig with it Saturday. It is a 1981 50 watt JCM800, got the KC, Sat, Modern, effects loop, 2 master volumes. I was going to go with a simple clean but after 6 months of playing with the Friedman modded 1975 superlead I bought from LP Freak I am finding that I am getting all the clean tones I need with my volume knob. I want to use the second master as a solo boost.

Over Christmas I will record both side by side and post the clips. I am interested to hear the differences in the amps.

Awesome man!

My amp is going back to Dave for a "tweak". I'm not sure why but my amp is oscillating a bit. I was going to have someone local look under the hood but Dave said to just send it back and he will take care of it.

I can't wait to get it back. Best amp I've ever played!!! :thumbsup:

Got mine today and I will have to say it's by far the best modded 50 watter I've ever owned with MEGA BALLS! it fits like a glove and my pedals sound great oh and the ep-3 is awesome infront of the amp! this was a great addition to my setup thanks Dave!
 
Dave's hoping to wrap mine up next week....should be sweet.
 
The amp is in Chicago, scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Yes, the excitement builds!!!

Playing with it tonight. Seems killer so far. I am very pleased.
