My Mesa quest continues - Studio Preamp

Looking for a Mark style amp but came across a Studio preamp with C++ mod done by Mike B.

What's the scoop? I'm intrigued but no option to try before buy. Was planning on running it into the FX return of a Marshall or Friedman, figured that should work well.

The studio pre amp is great, the upgrade to C++ should be awesome. The SP is one of my favorite Boogie products, it's similar to the Quad pre amp, some say the studio is better but I don't think that there is much of a difference, they both rule!

I like Boogie Mark amps, so I'm biased, but until I play an amp that blows me away Boogie does, I'm in deep, Boogie rich I say, but very happy.

I'm not that across the mods but might give it a go, can probably flip it if it doesn't work out.
