My Mosvalve mv 962 is not working?

Hi!
I´m new, and I apologyze for my english, haha.

I bought a used Mosvalve mv962 on ebay for $200 bucks plus shipping, the things is, I live in Mexico, so a friend who lives in USA He´s gonna come, the Mosvalve arrived at his home and i asked him to turn it on and He told me that the Mosvalve wasn´t working.

He didn´t do any connections to the preamp and Cabs he just plugged the power cord and turn on the Mosvalve, then he told that the green led didn´t light, I´m scared, ´cause I don´t live in USA and is hard to do my movements from here.

So, Could someone help telling me if it is broken or if it starts to work once everything is connected? (I mean, the mosvalve turn on and connected with the cab and preamp).

May not be working, but it is a terrible idea to power up a power amp or guitar amp for that matter without having the proper load (speaker cab) hooked up. It can damage your amp and or the output transformer.
 
It's a solid state amp. Hooking it up without a speaker is fine.

Have your friend replace the fuse. If it doesn't fire up, you have a non-functioning amp.

Sorry guys for not posting earlier, I had some issues with my lap.

Thanks to all of you guys for posting, fortunately the mosvalve arrived today, i´m gonna test it tomorrow, I hope everything is OK.

I read what BC Audio posted and yes if it is an SS amp power up without speaker plugged in is OK. Tomorrow what i´ll do first is to check the fuse, I hope that´s the problem.
I´m gonna post what is the issue :).
 
I fixed the problem. The issue was that the power cord was damaged, and i didn´t notice, now, i changed it and everything is OK, yeah!
