I bougtht a couple of guitars off of him back when I was heavy into collecting.
I know one was a Demartini Crossed swords Charvel and not sure of the other one.
I went thru my Ebay feedback and his name is there a few times........ :D
Andy Cain....yup. Good folks!

Yes indeed! I'm willing to bet he's got one of the largest collections in the USA, next I suppose to the owner of the USA Charvel forum or whatever the name is. I haven't spent alot of time there because I'm a creature of habit and stuck here!

Whenever I come across a vintage Charvel I try to research it before buying and Tracey Jenkins the San Dimas Charvel expert website guy then buys it by the time I finish my homework.

I am suprised he did not grab this one if it was on the public market.
The original seller and Tracey aren't "buds"...it was most likely never offered to him.

There's an even larger collection in CO but the collector keeps it private...he's not much of a fan of the cast of characters in the Charvel "community".

Interesting to know. I just joined the usacharvels.com forum. I figured it's about time since that's all I play! Even got the 'Metalhead' moniker! :D

Wow....there is a name i havent heard in a long time. Tracey Jenkins.
I bought and sold quite a few Original San Dimas Charvels and other guitars from that man.
Sold him my 1985 Blood and Skull Demartini San Dimas original. Also had a Pink Jackson Custom shop that belonged to CC Deville I sold him. Bought One of Mark Kendalls Personal BC RICH with the JAWS Great white Graphic off him. Few more that I forgot.
That guy has an AWESOME collection!! :worship:

I remember the older Charvel forum where someone had a sig that said "it's a community not a competition" I never really understood that till I really got into the old Charvels along with the people that collect them and that entire circle of collectors is something else.

If you are ready for an amazing Charvel collection, check out Trace's stuff in this thread. Crazy!

I've actually been to his apartment a few times and played most of those guitars...he's a gracious host and loves to share his guitars with visitors.
I no longer participate on his forum though as I don't care for the way things are done there, nor the way some members of the "community/competition" have been treated...YMMV.

I belong to that forum and I was banned within a couple visits, You have to post something every time you visit. I just wanted to read and learn. My account is now reset and if I go there now, I post stupid stuff to keep from being banned.

Yep, looks to be your old Granite rock Soloist.
It indeed has an 18 volt set up and just screams.
I put a German Made Floyd on it and put the JT6 in the case.
Great playing guitar

Hey Andy Cain,
Not sure if you remember but I bought a few guitars off you on Ebay.
I know one was a Demartini crossed swords and cant remember the others.
Just went thru some of the old feedback and saw your name there a few times.

I think you may have bought off me as well.
I was a huge collector of all the old hair metal guitars from about 95 to 2005.
Nice collection you got.

Very cool. If I remember, I think I pulled the beat up JT-6 that's in the pics off, and put a better one on it. That was a great player. If you ever decide you don't want it to be lonely, I know of a good place for it. ;) When I got it, it was just BEAT. I think the fact I spent so much time cleaning it up is part of the reason I didn't hang on to it.

Fun stuff...
