My new bands first single

I usually get some hate from you guys but getting nothing?

Thank you!!! We recorded it at a place called Timeline Studios in Cape Coral Florida. The editing and mixing was done at Red Beard Studios in the same city. We used my Diezel Herbert for all the guitar tones.
 
Not my thing. Honestly, it sounded like all the new metal out there, but with bad vocals. If the words to the song weren't under it, I couldn't have understood one word.

Just being honest.

Music sounded good, but vocals killed it for me and not even so much from a tone of the vocals perspective as much as an annunciation/pronunciation perspective.

Don Arehims?
Masheengs?
Genreyshuns pissed?

And the screaming parts, its hard enough to understand lyrics when they are screamed like that but when you add another scream/growl as a background vocal but it has the same relative pitch as the lyric scream it just becomes mush...

That being said I think it shows promise and your band should be proud of that.
 
The music is really good. Just never been a fan of the "cookie monster" vocals.

This. I wanted to post this yesterday, but didn't want to be the first.

The recording sounds good. The music is "different" (to what I usually listen to)... and that's not a bad thing. But the vocals are where I couldn't hang-on. Not my thing. My son tells me that I'm a dinosaur because of my disdain for "screamo".
 
I liked the tune and the vocals, but not the screaming. I guess i am just too old for that type of thing. :lol: :LOL: But i liked your singers voice for the most part. Would be fun to hear with out the screams of course. Keep it up!!

Oddly enough, I liked the Cookie Monster vocal better than his regular vocal. :lol: :LOL:

I enjoyed the track more than the singing, but congrats on the new single! :thumbsup:
 
I loved the whole thing, man! Congrats on accomplishing this, it must feel good. I dig her voice - both the normal singing and the growling. She is doing the growling as well, correct?

Thank you!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Our bass player does the growling parts. He also sings harmonies live along with the rhythm guitarist. I personally really enjoy his growls. He has a slight Heaven Shall Burn style on it :rock:
