My new Dual Rec-look JP-2C, check this out....

I decided to make something no one else has (that I know of) for my JP-2C. Sort of a throw-back look to the Dual Recs. It's a cool mix of styles and I think it looks pretty damn good.

I was at Home Depot and saw some sheet diamond plate and thought what the hell, I'll give it a shot...

Cut out a new front panel. I did lots of measuring, drilling holes etc... Also had to build a piece of wood to go behind to to space the panel out correctly and give something for the screws holding the badges to grab onto...



After all of that, this is how it looks. Not bad for about $20 and an hour of work.

I did something similar to a Metaltronix M-1000 I used to own. When I bought it, the amp worked great but the chassis was a mess. I put new tolex on it and put that diamond plate on the front. I bought the amp for $250 and ended up selling for $700

Great job! it actually looks better than what I had thought in my head.
Make another plate and paint it black, then you will have an all blacked out JP2C.
