Recently got a new ENGL Savage

Nice! I think CH4 is the best Metal Channel of any amp ever. Total Chunk and Thump

I'm currently flip-flopping running KT88s, or the stock 6550's in my Savage 120 Mk2.
Can't decide which to stick with....they both sound great!

Engl is such a good tool to have in your arsenal.
Savage does its own thing. I think about it from time to time. A rawer clinical sound if you ask me and top notch.

Enjoyed the video thanks for sharing. Motivating me to finally do something with the mouthful (aka e670 special edition founders edition).

Guitar looks good too. What are you playing? I've been looking for a natural finish. I would have assumed they were cheaper than painted but nope.

I stll think the Fireball 100 is the perfect Engl amp . Just pure processed raging tone . Simple and effective . Savage rules too

this last days I thinking about Savage and Special Founders edition.
seems I prefer SE because it has more smooth sound. but anyway both are beasts!

I think the fire ball 100 is the best . And I’ve tried these all . It’s simple but it does the Engl sound best imo

yea and most people like Fireball 100. im not coz for me it very compressed and dark.

btw, I remember what i want said -
Original Savage was on KT88 but they decide move mk2 on 6550. seems to get more polished tone.
but we can see other brands starts use kt88 again. and here Savage can loose fans and potential buyers.
I think they need run Mk3 with KT88 and I think i will buy it with closed eyes

It’s can be too bright if you wanted. I think you’re underestimating it . I’m also not into kt88s so that’s me
