I have been lusting after a PC1 for years now. I had been toying with the idea of getting a Floyd Rose equipped guitar again. So I figured the time was right for a PC1. I was a bit concerned about the neck size- as I keep hearing people say that they are huge. However, I was pleasantly surprised that its not really that much bigger than my US Strat neck. It is super comfortable to play on. I still need to make a few minor tweaks to the setup to get the action where I like it, but overall I am EXTREMELY happy with the quality and playability of this guitar.

Great looking guitar, I LOVED the sustanier, but I just couldn't get beyond the combination of 1/4 Sawn Maple and Mahogany ....

I wish I could get one w/ a "Baked" Maple, for my 'ears' I bet the tone would be a whole lot more to my liking !

Very cool guitars, they still need to do at least one run with chrome though, come on! lol.

Just finished setting it up. The previous owner had the action a bit higher than I like. This thing playing like butter. Funny enough, I was looking at a Chlorine one when I ran across this one. I just love the solar color. The neck has flame all over it, but I can't seem to get it so show up in pictures. Maybe after some play in will pop a little better. The raw maple feels really good in my hands. Fret work is outstanding. I may put a Suhr SSH in the bridge. For now, I'm gonna let the DiMarzio Super 3 stay in there to see if it grows on me. This is easily one of the nicest guitars I have played. I can't get over how good it feels to play.

I've had 2 and they are awesome guitars. I hate really fat necks but didn't think the PC1's neck was fat at all.

Sweet! Not a fan of gold hardware, but otherwise cool...

Nice!!! They made the necks bigger on last years run I believe. Before hat, they were a bit slimmer. Maybe that's the one you got.

Enjoy!!!

Nice Joel. Always wanted one. Where'd ya snag it from?

Sounds killer!

Maybe a pickup change would have helped? :dunno:

Congrats and HNGD!

This guitar has always peaked my interest. I've been very close to purchasing one a few times over the years. The gold hardware and no fretboard markers have always kept me from taking the plunge. However, you have me gasing for one again!

Pretty guitars no doubt, way overpriced IMO.

Agreed, but they play great. I remember I bought my first one for $1700 new shipped from woodwind and brasswind a few years ago
