Man, thats beautiful, I love that finish.
I dont think the stock pups sound bad at all, I'd give them a little time
The sustainiac system is very cool when you need it :rock:
 
Great guitars but the sustainer system isn't for everyone. I gutted mine. Now Its one of my main live guitars.
 
Nate, I picked it up from eBay. Got a really good deal on it. It's a 2010 model. The neck is fatter than any Jackson that I have ever played. Reminds me of the neck on the EBMM EVH that I had a few years ago. I'm not a big fan of gold hardware, but I just couldn't pass this one up. The sustainer is a bit weak for an actual pickup, and if I thought it would work in the middle position, I'd move it there and get a really nice sounding single for it. But with some help from my Dyna comp it is more than passable live. For recording I have my strat- which sounds killer. Between this guitar and my strat that I purchased about a month ago, I have realized just how shot the frets on my Les Paul really are. Lol. Time to start looking into a refret for it.
 
I just got my lynch owned ESP back from mike Nedd after a killer refret. Amazing how that will resurrect a guitar. I've never been fond of the sustainer although I believe it has its place. Just not on any of my guitars! Lol

That's a good grab though brother. I'd love to play it sometime. I'm playing at FBE tonight bring it out so I can molest it for ya!! Haha

The Sustainer is fun. I think I can work it in tastefully in some spots. Trying to get a new project together so I can molest it myself. lol. If I get a "hall pass" I'll try to come out tonight.
