My new unique custom amp! (custom RedSeven Leviathan "Joker edition")

It would look something like these that I recovered to my taste. After the holidays I'm going to recover my 2 ENGL's to match their faceplates. The Morse with a blue metallic and Inferno with a red sparkle. I was going to do my Gemini in a cool looking purple/teal peacock feather design but the shop didn't have the full 2 yards I need & I can't find it anywhere else.

How does it sound is the question. I’ve heard lots of mixed things. Some say they are very good others say they have a 5150ish sound but nothing special and The EVH 5153 does it better anyway. Any owners chime in ?

There's a little preview clip of the second channel at the end of the video. It's very tight sounding but (luckily) more organic and not harsh like the EVHs. Very nice mids and rounded off top end.

You find the EVH to be harsh ? Thats surprising. Although I did find the OG 50w version could be slightly biting in the upper-mids/highs I think harsh is a stretch. In general they aren't harsh amps especially the 100w versions but everyones ears hear things differently.

Maybe I was a little too harsh with my choice of words :) But yeah, I'm comparison to other amps they can be a little but too grating on certain upper mid frequencies. Of course it depends on what speaker you pair it with etc. It's not a bad sound per say, but it's not necessarily the most forgiving sound either. Just my opinion based on my experience with those amps (the LBX and 50w versions). I heard that the 100w heads are warmer sounding.
 
Love it, did they have to pay a license fee for using the Joker character?

In honor of my bro the mailman it would have to have two penis's ( or penii) with wings(crossed of course!)both penii also wearing chuck taylors- and a dolphin fucking a unicorn on it. Many men would be pleased.

I have to admit, that would look very good :) I don't use real cabs often though but I have to admit that I've had fun cranking this amp through my ENGL 2x12 quite a bit since it arrived. There's only one cab that I still want basically, and that's a Mesa Rectifier 2x12. With that, my ENGL and Orange (PPC212) I'd have a good selection of cabs for my needs.
